Collen is an Intellectual Property Attorney and member of the Georgia Bar who is primarily engaged in invention clearance, patent prosecution, patent portfolio management, trademark clearance and registration, opinion work, and advice. Collen also served as outside General Counsel for several companies.PRACTICE SUMMARY
Collen prepares and prosecutes U.S. and PCT patent applications in medical device, textile, biochemical, chemical and mechanical fields. Collen also prepares trademark applications, registrability and use opinions, patentability, infringement and validity opinions, due diligence analyses, and licensing agreements and provides litigation support. Her expertise includes organizing and evaluating extensive patent portfolios, developing patent strategies for research, integral involvement in business development, in-and-out licensing, competitor evaluations and business strategies.Prior to joining Parks IP Law, Collen was General Counsel for BioCure, Inc. and an Associate at large and small law firms.
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
