Mickki is an intellectual property attorney and member of the Georgia and Missouri Bars. Prior to joining Parks Knowlton, Mickki worked as an associate with Alston & Bird in Atlanta and with Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal in St. Louis.

PRACTICE SUMMARY

Mickki focuses his patent prosecution practice on domestic and international patent prosecution regarding a wide variety of technologies including computer-implemented business methods, medical devices, and electro-mechanical technologies. Mickki also drafts related IP agreements and performs due diligence evaluations for patentability, infringement, and freedom-to-operate opinions. In addition, Mickki practices in the areas of trademark, copyright, and internet law.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

While in law school, Mickki worked as a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where he examined over two hundred patent applications. Before law school, Mickki worked as an engineer at Ford Motor Company and Johnson Controls, Inc.
